BÚZIOS, ARRAIAL DO CABO AND SAQUAREMA
The north coast of Rio de Janeiro is a destination for sun lovers, the ocean sea and outdoors extreme sports.
Since the 1950s, after a visit from Brigite Bardot, the small fishing village of Armação dos Búzios has never been the same. Beautiful beaches framed by wild nature, under the summer sun practically all year round, accompanied by seafood-based cuisine , Búzios is the option for a few days relaxing by the sea, or exploring the geography of the region, whether by sea or by land, discovering its wild beaches.
A few miles from Búzios is located Arraial do Cabo. Diving in its transparent waters, full of marine life, is one of the main attractions of this part of Rio de Janeiro’s coastline.
For more extreme sport lovers , there is Saquarema. The Brazilian Surfing Temple, with clear waters and abundant waves, also offers Kitesurfing, Hawaiian Canoeing and tracking among other outdoor activities.

The South of the State of Rio de Janeiro offers some of the best destinations in Brazil for those who love nature. Surrounded by the Atlantic Forest, the local ecosystem, formed by mountains, coastline and a bay with more than 300 paradisiacal islands, in addition to the historic city of Paraty. The Bay of Angra dos Reis has, among hundreds of islands, the charming Ilha Grande. A place of adventure since the days of pirates and gold exploration, until today with its natural trails and wild beaches.
